Portland, OR Walking Softly Adventures Annual Alumni Reunion. Join your fellow travelers and enjoy an evening of great food and camaraderie at our annual reunion! This year, we’ve chosen the Country Cat Dinnerhouse as our venue. Country Cat is on the cutting edge of the Portland restaurant scene and was recently featured in Portland Monthly Magazine. It prides itself on “regional American cuisine with a Northwest flair.” On reunion night, the restaurant will be reserved for our exclusive use! Chef Adam Sappington (who spent eleven years at Portland’s Wildwood Restaurant before launching the Country Cat) and pastry chef Jackie Sappington will prepare a special menu for us. On the following day, please consider joining us on a hike (to be determined). As always, friends and family of Walking Softly alumni are welcome at the reunion! For those of you from outside the Portland area we will be glad to suggest lodging and other area attractions if you decide to join us!
